[2023-01-09 11:08:57] <Z-Man> I don't have a wireless keyboard permanently connected, though. I have a couple, but they are all different kinds of terrible, so I just use the mouse as remote. Though, come to think of it, I should switch to a game controller.
[2023-01-09 11:13:10] <Z-Man> The rest of the parts for the PC arrived saturday, and upgrades went surprisingly well. Even Windows 11.Only Minecraft and booting into Windows from Grub broke, strangely.
[2023-01-09 11:18:21] <Z-Man> Annoyingly, I learned that game startup times on Windows are now dominiated by the game launchers. Steam, Epic and EA Origin. Apparently, they are network limited. Grr. Some EA games (Star Wars Squadrons, Battlefront 2) were freebies on the Epic store recently, which was neat... BUT THEY REQUIRE that both the Epic lauchner and Origin are running. And they start them one after the other, so you have twice the fun.

[2023-01-09 12:14:36] <Z-Man> A phew, thought Windows 11 had wiped my Linux partition.  It did not. I have my hard drives confused.
[2023-01-09 12:24:59] <Z-Man> But it did destroy Grub. That is to be expected.
[2023-01-09 14:34:15] <Z-Man> And just like I thought, fixing that made the "Grub cannot load Windows" problem go away :)
